Mor-Chu wants to congratulate Aimee for being featured and recognized by Forbes 30 under 30 (2014) in the art and style category for her handbag designs. What we love about Aimee’s handbags besides having amazingly functional silhouettes is the splash of colors like bubble gum and teal or her own water python custom print.
In a 2012 interview with InStyle. Aimee said: “Every woman should be able to own a contemporary, all leather, functional designer handbag that exudes the same attitude and confidence as the woman carrying them” and we couldn’t agree more!
Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Aimee studied Industrial Design at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. She made the bold move to New York City upon acceptance into the prestigious Parsons The New School for Design. While attending Parsons, Aimee completed design internships with various luxury brands including Ralph Lauren Collection, Isaac Mizrahi Couture, Sass & Bide, Jill Stuart and Alexander McQueen. Aimee is also a three-time finalist and two-time winner of Independent Handbag Designer Awards. For three years, Aimee worked as an apprentice at The House of Couture.
Aimee’s designs are functional and versatile; her silhouettes are perfect for everyday wear. She uses quality, soft, supple leathers with her custom prints.
